Razor clam, longueirão, canivete or razor clam are different names, depending on the region, that designate the same bivalve (Solen marginatus).
 Its main characteristic is its narrow, razor-shaped shell. It is one of the best delicacies that our coast has to offer.

 The razor clams we sell are not produced on the “Ilha dos Puxadoiros”. If, due to availability issues, they cannot be sourced from the Ria de Aveiro, they will certainly be sourced from the Portuguese coast. Their origin will be identified on the label that accompanies them, also attesting to the adequate purification of the product.
